Putting the pieces together

The wedding went well. It was super beautiful. It was nice to see everyone so dressed up and happy. I have enclosed pictures from the night. That was before Marty and I drank so much wine and forgot to take more pictures. Not much more to say though. We satyed and Stu and Jaimie's. That was a lot of fun. In fact Marty and realised that it was our first sleepover together at someones house since we got married.
We were disorganized though. I left my coat at the hair salon. All I ended up having that night was my long work coat which was already in the car. The next morning I also was horrified to see that I didn't pack any casual shoes. All I had were my high heels. Which I may say is hard to pull off with a polo shirt and jeans. Marty also didn't pack a casual shirt for the next day so he had to borrow one from Stu. Man you would think that we were new to all of this packing stuff. All in all though, we had a complete blast. During the ride home we pieced together some of the moments eachother missed. Very funny indeed.

Bad Friend

I didn't think that I would ever fall into that category, but here I am. Another week gone without a post. nice.

This week we have a wedding to go to. So this week we have been packing, cleaning and then preparing for this weekends getaway. I have few minutes to blog before I head off to my hair appointment. Is that lazy or what? Mom and Dad are taking the kids and we should be out of town before 11. Sounds like a sweet drive hey? No fighting for once. I should go though, I just realized that MArty's shirt isn't ironed.

About Me

My photo
I started taking pictures of my kids when I started scrapbooking. I really wanted my pages and pictures to look like the sample ones in the scrapbooking magazines. It took a lot of hard work, researching, learning and a few hundred roles of film but I got the results that I wanted. Portraiture quickly became a passionate hobby. Finally, in February 2007 I opened Madchen Studios. The studio has become the perfect outlet to feed my obbesion with perfect photographs.
